Over the years, we have refined and improved its silhouette to enhance comfort while moving towards more responsible production. From its premium feel to its lasting comfort, the M89 Icon remains a true SAYE essential.

Rooted in vintage inspiration and refined through years of craftsmanship, the M89 Icon delivers a clean, effortless style made for everyday wear.

In this edition, the upper features a leather alternative made with Lignify®, an innovative material created from lignin recovered as a by-product of the paper industry, transforming industrial waste into material innovation.

Its balanced silhouette and premium feel offer all-day comfort, elevating this timeless essential through innovative materials.

Unisex retro sneakers.
Upper: Made with Lignify® leather alternative made from lignin (a by-product of the paper industry)
Interior: soft bamboo and recycled PET, from post-consumer plastic waste.
Insoles crafted with recycled Polyurethane (leftover waste from a mattress factory).
We fund the growth of four trees for each pair of sneakers sold.
Ethically made in Portugal.

All unused products can be returned within 30 days*, excluding socks and the cleaning kit. You can choose between an exchange or refund.

We’ve improved the insole with a softer, more cushioned base. Made from recycled foam sourced from mattress industry waste.In addition, we’ve reinforced the heel area to prevent fabric wear and provide better support for your foot.

The M89 Icon now features our logo embossed on the sole a subtle signature that leaves a mark with every step. We’ve also updated the tongue tag for a more minimal, considered look that reflects SAYE’s design evolution.
LACES

Now made with certified organic cotton and finished with a subtle SAYE logo a detail that elevates both design and intention.
NEW BOX

Our sneakers now arrive in a box made from 100% recycled cardboard redesigned with SAYE footprints as a reminder that every step leaves a trace, so let’s make it count.
